An ongoing series of dye plant photographs on film.

This is an ongoing series of photographs taken of plants growing in the dye garden. I use my film camera to document the garden, and often display these photos next to my garden quilts, which depict large, abstracted, and stylised versions of these plants. The printed photos are on hemp paper, and framed with leftover wood from the garden beds. The photographs show the plants as I know them: coming in and out of focus, tangled up, momentarily still against a dynamic backdrop of green and sky.
