Drums I-VI: a series of circular quilts tied and stretched over metal frames.
In 2023, I installed new flower beds in the dye garden using slices of a found air duct. This series of works are made in reference to these beds, and are framed with leftover pieces of the metal duct. They are tied to the frames with a mix of garden twine and flax yarn. The circular quilts are made with silk scraps and up-cycled cottons and linens dyed with garden plants, and the floor drums have dried garden plants pushing up through the quilted tops.
