In 2023, I hosted several 'open garden days', inviting the community to drop in and walk through the garden. I had hoped these events might spark interest in natural dyeing and growing materials for making. I did not expect these days to become spontaneous workshops. With a long extension chord, we set up hotplates outside and bundle dyed fabrics with fresh flowers. It was an especially fun time spent with local families.
